Flora
The itinerary extends over two altitude zones featuring typical average-elevation vegetation: the lower sub-alpine plane and the mountain plane.
Fauna
The fauna is typical of mountain woodlands.The most common mammals include chamois, roe deer, and more rarely, red deer or wild-boar.
